Pied-à-Terre Flat is located in the leafy, quiet, and exceptionally beautiful neighbourhood of High Park. It is located one block from Keele Subway. For maps and transportation information please click here. The flat has hardwood floors, high ceilings, a private deck, a perennial garden with shared Weber BBQ, and attached laundry room.
The flat is well-equipped. The living room has a flat-screen TV, DVD player, stereo system, laser printer/scanner/fax, and small writing desk. The bedroom has a queen-sized Posturepedic mattress, large wardrobe with hanging space and drawers, and a closet. The bright eat-in kitchen is equipped with pots & pans, utensils, dishes, a microwave, a stove with four burners and an oven, a large fridge, a drip coffee machine, a stovetop Bialetti espresso maker, a blender, a kettle, and a toaster. (For those interested in baking, there there is also a handheld mixer and baking trays.) The flat is supplied with linens, duvets, towels for two people, an iron and an ironing board, a hair dryer, a clothes drying rack for air-drying laundry, a portable air conditioner, and a vacuum cleaner.
We've tried to make the apartment as welcoming as possible by imagining what we would want in a furnished apartment. The flat has spare lightbulbs to make changing bulbs less of a stress-inducing experience, there is a small collection of books, wireless internet, cable television, two telephones (local calls are free), and a black & white laser printer/scanner/fax.
The flat is strictly non-smoking and we regret that we are unable to accommodate smokers. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises, including the outdoor decks. We regret that we are also unable to welcome pets due to allergy concerns.
Please note that this apartment spans two floors, and so would not be suitable for a person with mobility constraints.
The laundry room is shared with two other flats; these residents enter via a separate entrance. The washing machine takes coins, & the dryer is free.

Little Note on Utilities Use: Rent includes unlimited water & hot water, and reasonable use of electricity/heat. 'Reasonable use' means that we ask you to turn the heat to Low when you are at work during the day or leave the apartment to go on holiday, as well as generally keep conservation in mind, for example by keeping the windows closed if the heating is on.
